Cyber Café 
Eastpoint Cyber Café was opened in 2003, primarily to aid Thornhill residents to increase their IT knowledge. Supported by Thornhill Plus You, there are 8 state of the art computer terminals all with super fast connection to the internet. The Cyber Café offers an informal setting to those wishing to surf the net or write emails to their friends and family all over the world. It also provides the opportunity for those wishing to learn about IT to have one to one tuition with a member of staff and there are lots of resources and fun exercises to do to help you on your way. You can even gain a qualification if you want to.
The Cyber Café has helped many people to become confident IT users and we have quite a few members who are undertaking qualifications on a drop in basis. To find out more about us, click on the links above.
In the Cyber Café itself we have 8 modern computer terminals each with high speed internet access and:
- 2 colour and one black and white printer
- A Scanner
- Digital camera
- 2 Digital camcorders
- A vast array of resources to help you improve your computer skills
- Computer Games
In addition to the Cyber Café facilities, there is ample free parking; a coffee bar opens from 10:00 ¬ 13:30 daily and there are vending machines available at other times.
Use of the Cyber Cafe is charged at the following Rates:-
Charges for all Customers: 50p - per 20 minutes (£1.50 per hour)
Printing:-
10p - per page Black and White
15p - per page Colour
